Join Us for Farrier Day – Volunteers Needed!

Come be a part of our next Farrier Day and help us keep our horses happy and healthy! This is a great opportunity to lend a hand, learn more about horse care, and enjoy a day with fellow horse lovers.

We need volunteers to assist with:
✅ Holding horses while their hooves are trimmed
✅ Bringing horses from paddocks and moving them around
✅ Holding feed buckets and helping keep horses calm
✅ Cleaning shed row and assisting with general tasks

No prior experience is necessary—we’ll show you what to do! In appreciation of your help, we’ll provide refreshments and lunch for all volunteers.

Join Us for Our 2nd Annual Farm Clean-Up Day!

Veterans Equine Trail Services (VETS) is hosting our 2nd Annual Farm Clean-Up Day, and we’d love your help! Last year, we focused on sorting, organizing, and general clean-up. This year, our main goal is to clear out and deep-clean the hay mow—removing dirt and debris to keep our barn cleaner.

How You Can Help:
🔹 Manual clean-up (sweeping, organizing, hauling items)
🔹 Brushwacking, tree trimming, dirt moving
🔹 Tractor work (back blade, farm-related tasks)

🍽️ Lunch & refreshments provided!

This is a great opportunity for students needing volunteer hours—just bring your paperwork! We also welcome businesses willing to donate their time, skills, and equipment. If you or your company can help with larger farm projects on another day, let’s coordinate!
